With Minna Sivola and Sarah Hart
The fall season is the time of the lung and the element of metal. The active yang energy of summer is transforming into the restful yin energy of winter. In fall we will celebrate the harvest of our summer growth and, just like the trees loosing their leaves, we will let go of what no longer serves us. During this time we may find ourselves stuck in sadness and grief.
We will combine sound healing with auriculartherapy (ear acupuncture) to balance our metal element for a profound sense of inspired calm as we allow for transformation and letting go this fall.
Sound healing together with acupuncture reinforces our mind/body/soul connection, enhances wellbeing and at the same time builds our capacity to be fully present in our lives.
Sarah will offer the acupuncture in the beginning of the evening, if you so desire. We will use breathing and vocal practices to support the experience. You will then lay down and enter into soothing sound immersion journey allowing spaciousness and deep relaxation. We close with a chant to bring us safely back into the reality.
Sound healing reinforces our mind/body/soul connection, enhances wellbeing and at the same time builds our capacity to be fully present in our lives. Chanting and simple vocal exercises will balance emotions and improve concentration.
No previous experience is required. Please wear something warm and comfortable. Bring a pillow, eye cover and anything that will help you relax as you lay down on the ground.
Arrive few minutes early to allow yourself to settle in.
