With Trudy Collings
Dinacharya, or Ayurvedic daily rituals, play a key role in our health & wellness. When we establish a healthy morning routine, it sets the tone for the day, provides nourishment & establishes a connection between our bodies & minds.
In this workshop we will explore traditional daily rituals from yoga and Ayurveda, the traditional medical system of India. Morning rituals we will cover include: tongue cleaning, oil pulling, neti & nasya, skincare, elimination, eye washing, karna purana, asana, pranyama & meditation.
This workshop will give you the tools you need to establish harmonious daily, weekly and seasonal rhythms. Leave this workshop feeling empowered to make positive change in a sustainable way.
Trudy Collings was born in England but raised in Vero Beach, Florida. In 2008, she graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a double major in British Literature & Anthropology. Her inquisitive nature brought her to San Francisco in 2009, and she eventually landed in her first yoga teacher training in 2011. From there, she learned of Ayurveda and instantly fell in love with the science. By the fall of 2011, she was enrolled at the California College of Ayurveda. This science encompassed everything she was looking for: yoga, traditional ecological knowledge, cultural understanding & a holistic approach to well-being. Today, Trudy continues to teach yoga, regularly conducts Ayurveda trainings & is co-founder of PAAVANI Ayurveda.
