Foundations in Daily Practice

Learn how to cultivate a meditation practice that will lay the foundation for living your healthiest and most optimal life.

In this workshop you will learn to build a sustainable meditation practice that will become an integral part of your daily life. We will review basics and fundamentals of meditation, define what meditation is and why we meditate, go over the mechanics of meditation, unpack the science of habit formation and the ancient traditions of creating a ritual around meditation, and learn to live a healthy and happy life based in mindfulness supported by a daily practice of meditation. 

At the end you will not only know how to meditate everyday, you will also understand how to increase health and wellbeing through mindfulness and how your daily meditation practice supports you in living your most optimal life. This is for those completely new to meditation and experienced meditators wishing to refresh and deepen connection to their meditation practice.

Meditation for Healing & Transformation

Our meditation practice can become a refuge for us to relax and restore in amidst life’s difficult moments and everyday challenges. We can learn to cultivate a rootedness and unwavering stability in our meditation practice that can transfer out into daily life and become part of who we are. 

In this workshop you will learn mindfulness-based tools and techniques to steady and stabilize the mind, work with pleasant and unpleasant emotions, and transform difficult experiences as they arise in your life. There will be a particular focus on self-compassion based healing and teachings on how to turn meditation and these healing practices into a daily routine for self-care and transformation. 

If you have wanted to explore how to deepen your meditation practice in a compassionate and simple way, and learn how to lean on your meditation practice when needed then this workshop is for you. 

All levels of prior experience in meditation are welcome, and there is a special returning student rate for practitioners that have attended Foundations in Daily Practice or Meditation Basics or Deepen Your Meditation Practice with Amanda.
