with Minna Sivola and Sarah Hart
Enter the new week with calm and ease. Join us on a deeply relaxing, gentle acoustic sound journey into inner wisdom and peace. Aditionally you are welcome to deepen and empower your experience with ear acupuncture by Sarah Hart, L.A.C of Hart Medicine.
We will focus on the element of fire, which awakens our joy and compassion by connecting to our heart and the pericardium, our heart protector. While fire fuels our will to live and lights our Gate of Life, out of control fire can express as anxiety. We will combine sound healing with auriculartherapy to balance our fire element for a profound sense of inspired calm.
The ear is a microcosm of the entire body. Auriculartherapy, or ear acupuncture, is able to treat pain and disease by soothing the nervous system and stimulating points that correspond to the location of pain and unbalanced organ systems.
As always, we will use breathing and vocal practices to support the experience. You will then lay down and enter into soothing sound immersion journey allowing spaciousness and deep relaxation. We close with a chant to bring us safely back into the reality.
Sound healing reinforces our mind/body/soul connection, enhances wellbeing and at the same time builds our capacity to be fully present in our lives. Chanting and simple vocal exercises will balance emotions and improve concentration.
No previous experience is required. Please wear something warm and comfortable. Bring a pillow, blanket, yoga mat, eye cover and anything that will help you relax as you lay down on the ground.
Come a few minutes early and allow yourself to settle down before we officially start.
